Another Wristlet

I  whipped this little wristlet up yesterday.  The fabric has tiny red, yellow, and blue tulips on a navy background.  None of the felt flower buttons in my stash worked as décor, so I digitized my own appliqued and embroidered tulip to adorn the front and added ric rac as an added touch.  I still need to make the zipper pull and key fob, but I think the wristlet turned out pretty cute!

Personalized I-Phone Case

 

Today, I personalized an I-Phone 4 case for a customer.  Since chevrons are so popular these days, I designed a circle with a chevron pattern in the middle, and then applied the monogram in a contrasting color.  I have a few of these cases, but will get more when I see how well they sell. 

 

I have a couple of different designs worked up and will be working on more.

 

I am offering these cases for $6 each, plus actual shipping.

Fobs, Fobs, and More Fobs!

It seems like I'm covering myself up in key fobs!

 

These are but a sampling of the key fobs I've made!  My daughter has sold a bunch of them for me!

Going to be busy!

More bracelets and a couple of more wristlet and key fob sets!

Who ever knew that taking decent pictures is hard work?!  I'm not anywhere near being a professional photographer, but I think my pictures are turning out pretty good for a  novice!

 

This is one of the round, hinged plastic bracelets that I am monogramming in vinyl.  This particular bracelet is a hot pink color.

I also make survival bracelets.  These bracelets are made of 550wt. paracord, and each one contains about 8 feet of paracord.  Great for emergencies or if you just need a rope!  You can untie your bracelet and use it for just about any kind of emergency that requires a rope.

Zipper bags and key fobs

Hello, again!

Today, I want to show you an example of the zipper bags and key fobs that I make.  This is the last bag and key fob set that I have in stock at the moment, but I will be making more this afternoon.

I use warm and natural cotton quilt batting and quilt the cotton fabric to a coordinating lining before I make the bag.  This bag and its matching key fob are each adorned with contrasting  ribbon and a coordinated felt flower button.  I attach a D-ring to the bag so that you can attach it to the key fob if you wish.  The key fob is cushioned with the same cotton batting for your comfort.

I also can customize a bag with your name or monogram, depending on the continuing availability of fabrics.  Please note that I monogram the bags BEFORE I sew them together.  I cannot monogram an already-made bag, as my hoops will not fit.  If you like one of the bags I've already made, a monogrammed one is available if I have more of the fabric.

This little bag really comes in handy for shopping without worrying about your purse, and it is the perfect size for carrying your essentials to a ball game or other activity without having to deal with a purse.  It is approximately 6" wide by 4" high, and will easily hold your phone, ID/credit/debit cards, and some cash.

Welcome to my new blog!  Kick off your shoes and make yourself at home!
 

This blog is primarily to showcase items that I make to sell, but I'll probably share a little of my life with you, as well.
 

I mostly sew and do machine embroidery.  I also like to personalize items with my Cricut machine.  If the mood hits me, I have even been known to paint pictures, although that occurs very rarely!

My daughter and I found these plain vinyl-covered hard shell sunglasses cases yesterday, and I am customizing them with vinyl.  This is a black one that I did for myself, with polka dots and circles in dark red and white, along with my monogram in white.  Isn't it cute?

The case is a pretty good size...about 6-1/2" wide, 2-3/4" front to back, and about 3" high.  It's the perfect size for my sunglasses, and it comes with a cleaning cloth inside.  Cost is only $15, plus actual shipping cost.
